We have created two GattoMoro apartments, GattoMoro 1 and GattoMoro 2, with more or less the same characteristics, 1) on the first floor and 2) on the second. If you are looking for a calm and peaceful place to stay, GattoMoro 1 or 2 vacation homes are perfect for you. 1) is an apartment with four beds, two in a bedroom with a large double bed and two in the living room on a comfortable double sofa bed. 2) is an apartment with 4/5 beds, two in a King size bed (180x200) that can be divided into two single beds if desired, in the living room there is a French double sofa bed and a single armchair bed, all in a comfortable and very bright attic with a wooden roof and a livable terrace with an east-facing view of the Reno floodplain.
Both apartments have a kitchen with everything you need, two air conditioners, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. A capsule coffee machine, an electric kettle, and an induction hob are also available along with pots, cutlery, plates, glasses, etc. However, if you don't want to cook, there are some trattorias and pizzerias nearby. There are also an ice cream parlor, tobacco shop, hardware store, supermarket, pharmacy, hairdresser, etc.
We accept small dogs by prior arrangement, and we do not provide breakfast, but we offer a clean, sanitized and ozone-sanitized environment.
We do not provide breakfast, however, we almost never fail to offer some snacks, coffee pods, tea bags, or herbal tea as a "welcome" for the first day. For the following days, guests can purchase coffee pods to use in the coffee machine at the supermarket located 800 meters from the apartment, or they can use coffee for the moka pot and choose their preferred snacks or biscuits. Alternatively, they can visit one of the 4 bars within a 800/1000-meter radius from the property.

Good morning, I am Francesco, the manager of the vacation home GattoMoro, what can I say about myself? I am now a retired gentleman. I enjoy walking, I am a pilgrim, I have traveled different paths including the one to Santiago, the one to San Benedetto, the one to Sant' Antonio, and the path of the changing lands. I love creative manual work, music, and art in general. Whenever possible, I always strive to please my guests.
We are not in Bologna, but in the countryside, in Longara, a small hamlet of the municipality of Calderara di Reno just outside the city center of Bologna. Longara is a peaceful village only 6 km from Bologna airport, 15 km from the city center and the Fiera District, and 42/47 km from the center of Modena and 54 km from the center of Ferrara.
To reach GattoMoro, if you are coming from Ancona, Milan, or Florence, take the Bologna ring road and exit at 4 bis towards Calderara di Reno, then continue straight towards Longara. When you see the Longara sign on a white background on the right, you have the parking lot, and 100 meters ahead is the entrance of Via Fabbreria. As soon as you enter Via Fabbreria, there is a private road that leads to the apartment. The apartment is not visible from the street.
If you are coming from Padua, instead, exit at the Interporto exit, turn right and continue straight on the plain crossroad. After the bridge over the Reno river, immediately turn right towards Bonconvento. Pass through the hamlet of Bonconvento, Castel Campeggi, Longara, and after the gas station, the first left is Via Fabbreria, and the second is the parking lot.
